Enjoy music with your child while they experience their first music class! Participants will explore fun topics such as the farm, cooks in the kitchen, the sea, birds, animals, parts of the body and surprises, and more. Students and parents will participate in language repetition and speech development, greetings and goodbyes, verbal and physical counting, memory and reaction exercises, gross and fine motor skills, instrument manipulation and handling, rhythm exercises, and listening and melody development.

Join other seniors to learn how to play the angklung instrument from Indonesia. The angklung is a musical instrument from the Sundanese people in Indonesia made of a varying number of bamboo tubes attached to a bamboo frame. The tubes are carved to have a resonant pitch when struck and are tuned to octaves, similar to Western handbells.
