Come out to South Germantown Bike Park to hang out and ride with the Roots to Rocks coaches!
We will be “session-ing” the pump track, features and progressive jumps with some individualized skills instruction along the way.
This is a perfect way to meet other riders and build skills on your bike.

We do have a limited number of bikes and helmets available free of charge in case you don’t have one (we will ask to hold something as collateral during the program – cell phone/credit card/etc.).

**For those who bring their own bicycle – we ask that you ensure that the bike is in SAFE/WORKING order PRIOR to attending**

Pre-requisites/Requirements:
Ages 6+
Must know how to ride a bicycle
Participants must wear CLOSED TOED SHOES

Registrants must provide their own:
Water bottle/hydration pack

It is also highly encouraged that participants wear:
Sunscreen
Bike gloves

This is a perfect way to expand on your skills aboard a bicycle from certified bike coaches.

Depending on the location you can expect a program that includes:
- Bike set up and safety
- Body position
- Shifting and cadence
- Looking ahead
- Effective braking

Interested in learning archery? Participants will learn basic skills and safety instruction. You will learn how to hold, aim, draw, and shoot a bow. We will introduce or build on participant's current knowledge/skills of archery and provide time to practice each new skill. We will supply all the equipment, a safe place to shoot, and a Certified Instructor to guide you. Please bring a water bottle and dress for the weather.

Prerequisite: Passed Level 1 Archery
Interested in more archery? Intermediate archery focuses on the draw cycle. You will learn how to anchor, transfer/hold, aim, and release/follow through. We will supply all the equipment, a safe place to shoot, and a Certified Instructor to guide you. Please bring a water bottle and dress for the weather.

Whether you are a novice, or you shoot better than Robin Hood, this class is for parent/guardian and their children interested in the sport of archery. It is a really FUN way for boys and girls to learn about archery in a positive learning environment involving both parent and child! Participants should wear comfortable clothing. This is an outdoor class, so participants should dress accordingly. Fee covers one child and one adult; register the child only.

If you have always wanted to try golf or have not played in years and want to pick it up again, this is an easy, inexpensive way to get into the sport. For just $99, you will get four weeks of professional instruction from a Montgomery County Golf Academy Certified Instructor, and learn the basics of golf: proper stance, grip, chipping, putting, driving, golf etiquette, and more. Fee covers loaner clubs and balls. Class sizes are small (no more than 8 students), so you are sure to get a good bit of personal attention.

Each month we will offer various clinics, each focusing on a particular swing or golf skill. You choose which classes you want and register and pay for them at one time. It's golf à la carte! Golf is a great game for kids to start early, and you will have a great time learning together. With the help of a Montgomery County Golf Academy Certified Instructor, you and your child (age 7-14) will learn the basics of golf, including proper stance, grip, chipping, putting, driving, and more. If you are already a golfer, the instructor will work with you at your level to help you improve your game. Fee covers one child and one adult; register the child only. Fee covers instruction, loaner clubs and balls.

One day clinics are a great way for you to learn tips and advice to improve specific skills. Clinics focus on chipping, putting, and bunker play. Come and improve the most important part of your game with us!

For kids who want to try golf but don't want to spend all day at it, this great combo camp is a 50/50 split that will keep them interested all day long. With the help of a Montgomery County Golf Academy instructor, all campers will practice putting, chipping, driving, and using irons and woods at the Driving Range, and then on Friday, we will go to a nearby golf course to play a round of 9 holes. Golf equipment will be provided to those who don't have their own golf clubs. Each camper will receive professional instruction, tees, and Golf balls. In the afternoon, full-day campers will participate in group activities such as field games (examples: soccer, basketball, kick ball, etc.), mini-golf, and water fun at the South Germantown Splash Park. Please note that all activities will be held outside, and can vary depending on the weather. Bring a non-perishable lunch and snack, water bottle, sunscreen, bathing suit, and towel. Fee covers instruction, tees, golf balls, and transportation to the golf course on Friday. Don't want full day camp? Sign up for half-day camp and concentrate on golf!

We will have; frisbees, relays, hopsacks, kickball, scarf tag, beach bucket relays, hula hoops and much more. What could be more fun than playing all these games in the sun? Every day will be packed with summer adventure for kids just like you. Summer Outdoor Adventure will not meet on July 4th.
