Sensing Nature: Listening to the Land, Exploring Nature's Sounds
Sensing Nature: Listening to the Land, Exploring Nature's Sounds
Join us for Sensory Saturday at the Agricultural History Farm Park every third Saturday of the month! This inclusive program invites individuals of all ages and abilities to enjoy nature at the farm in a sensory-friendly setting. Each month features a themed activity that highlights the unique aspects of farm life, including mindfulness exercises, nature journaling, animal interactions, or crafts, with adaptations for various needs and skill levels.
Families are encouraged to attend together, and participants aged 17 and under must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. We provide sensory bags, social stories, and adaptive materials to enhance the experience. For specific modifications, such as sign language interpretation, please request them during registration. We look forward to seeing you at the farm!
