Family Nature Hikes - PLGNC0006

Join a Park Naturalist for a weekly hike exploring the changing of the seasons in Cabin John Regional Park. Children will also be introduced to our Nature Center's resident animal ambassadors and engage in nature based play and exploration. Program is intended for children 3 to 5 ½ years old and requires the accompaniment of an adult to ensure safety. The majority of each class will be outdoors (barring extreme weather) so be sure to dress appropriately. This trail difficulty is moderate. The trail is on natural surfaces with dirt, rock and rut. Trails steepness varies and some trails will only be accessible with stairs.
Register each child. An adult guardian must accompany the child. Each class meets Wednesdays, March 13 to May 22, skipping March 27 with May 29 for weather makeup (10 classes).
