Comment(s): Learn historical context and techniques used to navigate the way North to freedom including the challenges and opportunities nighttime travel presented. Traverse the trail with the help of stars and moonlight while learning which plants were helpful along the journey. Participants are highly encouraged to bring a flashlight and wear light colored or reflective clothing. Hike will begin at 7 pm and end at approximately 8:30 pm. Woodlawn Museum admission included; please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the hike to explore the museum. Hike covers approx. 2 miles and lasts 1 ½ hours. The trail is not ADA accessible and too difficult for strollers. Appropriate for ages 15 and up. The next Twilight Trek will be Saturday, July 26 at 7pm. Admission: $8 per person. Advanced registration required by 5 pm Wednesday before hike.
